Calvin Davenport and Darren Micheal's continue on their life's journeys filled with passion, lust and a ton of drinking; which they have been cradling since they were teenagers. As the two childhood friends bar hop and take their jobs with much regret; Darren , the more out going and evolved out the duo;finds himself in a heap of trouble and grief. But in the end Darren finds a treasure that he and his long life friend have been searching for what seemed to them like forever. Faced with the magnetic forces of women, bars and drinks pulling them into a type of false world of regret, grief and total destruction of their essence. In this short story written in poetry and novel form the two friends can't even imagine what lies ahead for them in the mere future, Especially Darren Micheal's who opens a door that contains no light. Or does it?
