For the love of Donuts

A fun walk down memory lane. The book is very retro in feel, which stylisticly is appealing. And the recipes are yummy. I say buy the book and include a box of Dunkin Donuts as a gift to your favorite donut lover.

Donut Book

This book is delightful. I ordered it after reading the reviews on it. I understood that it was not really considered a cookbook, however it has some good recipes in it. Reading the history behind donuts was very inspirational and interesting. It made me want to make donuts more than ever. It is a good coffee table book as previously stated.

Purely Addictive! (Just like the donut itself)

What a wonderfully entertaining and insightful book this is! Author Sally Levitt Steinberg writes so effortlessly, so breezily, that even readers like me (admittedly not a "foodie") won't be able to put the book down. Who would have guessed that a book about donuts could be so utterly fascinating?

NOT a "Sinker" !

An informative, well written and cute "coffee table book" you can place next to a plate of donuts(sinkers)all through the holiday season! A fabulous gift too.

For Everyone Who Loves Donuts

The Donut Book is, quite simply, delicious! Author Sally Levitt Steinberg (the "Donut Princess") is a wonderful historian of popular culture. Through the remarkable tale of her family's business, she tells us about the donut in science, art, philosophy, and 20th century America, and of the American dream come true. Along the way, we are treated to stories about donut shops, donut myths and legends, donut etiquette, and, most temptingly, astonishingly yummy donut recipes. I loved the photos and illustrations - I wanted to take a bite out of this book. It's a perfect book for the holidays, or any time you want to snack.
