This book is one of my childrens favorite, along with Carm Boffelly other published book "The day Lenny the leopard lost his spots. Both books have wonderful messages for young children.

Stevie, the little boy, learns a lesson about responsibility

The story in this book makes a good point about responsibility, while still being cute and funny. The illustrations are nice, and kids will be able to relate to the relationship between the boy and his dog. Both my 7 year old and my 3 year old enjoy this book.
