In mans everyday life, there are threats that may prompt one to retaliate or defend themselves from such attacks. In the meantime, force may be used to avert or even overcome such threats. In the event of these situations, the aggressor may get injured or even eventually die and therefore leading to a court battle as to whether the accused actions were justified under the law.
