This is a historical edition of the "Breviarium Romanum," a liturgical book containing the daily prayers and readings for clergy in the Roman Catholic Church. Restored by decree of the Council of Trent and edited by order of Pope Pius V, it was later revised by the authority of Popes Clement VIII and Urban VIII.
This edition includes the offices of the saints, divided into four parts: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. A valuable resource for understanding the historical practices of the Catholic Church and the evolution of its liturgical texts.
