In the beginning, the world was wider.

Lisa McCoremic has spent her whole life hidden away in an old farmhouse in the No Zone, the most desolate and outer region of the Outskirts. On her eighteenth birthday, she is finally given the means to escape after Harley offers her a chance the visit one of the neighboring communities in the Greenlands while he runs errands.

In a moment of escapades, driven to them by their own freedom and exploration, Lisa and Kristen find themselves in the back of a police car with three murders on their hands and no explanation of how. At the police station, the biometric scanner that grants officer's access to citizen ID's - all granted upon birth - fails to retrieve any information on Lisa.

In a whirlwind move, before the officer's tensions get too high, Kristen comes barreling to the rescue, and eventually discloses to Lisa her origin in Eden, her family's murder, and the price that had been placed on she and her uncle's heads for their retrieval.

Swept by a moment of realization, Lisa severs all ties with Kristen and Harley, and runs away, and soon finds herself in the arms of a charming stranger who takes her away to the infamous Liberty City where she explores, discovers, and comes to new terms with herself.

The Divide is a six-part series following the life of Lisa McCoremic as she grapples different fates, faces turmoil with higher powers, topples unjust systems, and eventually climbs her way to the top of her family tower where she discovers what it was she was figthing for the whole time.
