Purvis and George deal with the cat-and-mouse intrigue with a known assassin known as "La Viuda". A game of wit and deception is played to the end, and they hold their breath if the word of an enemy is to be trusted. The author was born in Col n, Republic of Panama. He served in the U.S. Army with orders to 5th Special Forces Group (Abn) with further assignment to MACVSOG. Member of RT-Asp which at that time was the only reconnaissance team comprised of former NVA soldiers. He received his BA from North Texas State University (NTSU), Denton, Texas. His pleasures are his wife Phyliss, family, flying, one cat, traveling, writing and his military Brothers.
