It was starting to look like a bad year for Patrick Taylor, professor of Near Eastern Archaeology at London College. Some students were struggling to accept a critical approach to the historical Jesus, a few even talked about being dragged into sin.
The situation was spiralling out of control, threatening him and his position.
Then, he learns that the Vatican is secretly researching a potentially explosive text and sets out to uncover the truth. Slowly piecing together the evidence, he journeys to Rome, Jerusalem and Amman with his Research Assistant, Becky.
Suddenly, things get crazy. Searching for ancient artefacts is normal in his field. Hysterical media reactions, criminal prosecutions and hitmen are not.
As the body count mounts, he knows his life and that of his colleague are in danger.
