THE PROTAGONIST WHO DEFINES THE WORD ORDINARY,

desire for love and acclaim may have misled him a step too far.

innocence and his beautiful but begrudging companion in his

The last word left Mitchell's pen on Halloween, a fitting
day for his epic fantasy inspired by an ancient but barely
remembered upstate NY superstition. A Canadian of English
origin, Mitchell followed in his father's footfalls and put to
paper his roaming imagination. Drawing inspiration from the
archaic ruins and legends that were his playground as a youth,
but mindful of the laws of science, he crafted his story not to
trespass into the impossible, but to blur the line of reality and
myth.
