Jerome, Abela's dad, quickly shipped her off to her Aunt Mona in Florida after her mother's death, but she comes back to her home, Arizona. Meeting an old friend she had forgotten by the name of Samson Ronnan and a man named Marcos Ricardo who everyone warns her about. Her father is now a terribly quiet man with a broken heart, but there is more to her mother's death, more to the life her mother secretly had and it's eating at her father who she wants to help heal. Does the past of her mother have to do with the man Marcos or his father Angel Ricardo? A man that seems to have a eerie reputation, a man she's never heard of. Will Abela dig up things that she shouldn't ? And will tragedy strike again?
