There is the romance and the tears that come when Guy needs to go to work deep-sea diving. Yes, Elayne is left alone again, but other things happen as the months go by. You will cry at one point, but don't set the book down; it all turns out quite beautifully, and you will find out what happened to Frank; that's really "The Depth of it All".
