A woman named Jenny and a child named Amy really need some help. Amy believes they have found it in Nick, who used to be a gunfighter. The problem is that Nick is now a useless drunk full of self-loathing, poor health, and no belief in himself whatsoever. Jenny doesn't think much of him either. But Amy has faith she can turn him back into the type of man who can help them, which is what they need if they are to ever kill Stranger. Stranger runs roughshod over the nearby town, the surrounding area, the inside of just about everyone's head, and Jenny's body. But Jenny's had enough and knows that with or without Nick, it's time to finally make a stand. And that means people are going to die.
