The story is a mirror for examining who we are as political beings, and who we put our faith and trust in. The Right clashes with the Left, but as certain characters grow and evolve while others devolve into narcissistic madness, eventually both sides of the aisle get their acts together and start living up to the American potential.

What an incredible book! As if watching today's headlines come true!!

This is EXACTLY the kind of book I have been looking for to be able to say "THIS is what you should be reading!" It's a future dystopia and apocalyptic glimpse into our future, but it feels incredible recent. As if watching a potential worst case scenario news story come to life! The new technology in the 2100's being quickly turned weapons of war (quantum computing to quantum warfare) is so prescient and spot on if you have ever studied humanity's major wars. This book had me raving to all of my friends about it for the two weeks it took me to read it; a record for me! I want a sequel AND a movie!! (Chris Pratt and Halle Berry in a futuristic 1980's version of "Red Dawn.")
