I just put the book down after reading it in two sittings. It is a well prepared captivating detailed story about a simpleton who gets some cholesterol treatment and winds up with god-like powers. I don't want to give the ending away, so I'll just tell you that Kloner invites us into the dark world of cult fanaticism and its leaders' lust for power and pits it against the good-natured regular joe who has his deity genes turned on!Definitely a creative enticing comic book like read with dramatic overtones - I was rooting all the way to the end!

A lover of science fiction, my favorite genre is the novel in which the science is close enough to current standards to be believable, but far enough away to challenge my thinking. This is one such book. It is tantalizing to think that the many, as yet, unidentified genes in the human genome may hold the key to future abilities that are unthinkable today. They are just waiting to be "turned on". The characters in this book who face the challenge of responding to this neoteric situation are involving and real. The bad guys give you a chill, because their actions are only too believable, and I found myself really empathizing with the hero and his friends. All in all, a very enjoyable book.
A captivating story line...

Dr. Kloner's latest novel is a story which kept me up at night! The characters are so well developed thereby keeping my interest peaked throughout the unfolding of this fantastic piece of fiction. A very well written book, with a story line that is not as far fetched as you may think...I highly recommend this book!
