With the Weisskopf variants now defeated and their classmates free of germs, The Degerminators soon meet Dr. Trenton Lee, a man who shares a past with Dr. Weisskopf, but who lacks his penchant for malevolence. Dr. Lee has devised a rival troop called Bacteriophage Creatures to eliminate what remains of Weisskopf's creations. Unfortunately, the genesis of Lee's antivirals is sorely lacking in one key area and that is the fact that they only attack the purple germ monsters while ignoring the rest of the germ monsters. With this setback now in play, The Degerminators will have to band together with Dr. Lee, if they are to end the germ monster threat once and for all.
