Vivid Imagery

Millspaugh can paint a picture with words that will have you swearing you're camping out in Idaho's beautiful Stanley Basin. He uses his skill as an outdoor writer to full affect here, taking us into the wilderness of Idaho and Montana where a menace lurks. The book reads like the classic science fiction of the fifties but with modern men and technology. If you want to be fussy the science facts in this science fiction is sometimes off a bit, but you'll forget that in the adventure.
