Tag along with Hazel as she ventures into the woods near her new home. There she meets members of a feral cat colony and begins to uncover clues to her past. She quickly earns the trust of the other cats, who disclose that beneath the old oak tree in the center of the colony is a secret vault which contains the scrolls, documents that tell tales of the roles cats have played throughout history.

As Hazel explores other parts of her new neighborhood, she meets Leo, a former police dog, who becomes her best friend and mentor as the two join forces and inadvertently become a crime fighting duo.
