In the summer of eighty-nine Bobby Odom is holding on to a secret that he is gay and has a crush on his friend Mark. Bernadette is telling people that the real reason his sister has left is she is pregnant and when he learns that his parents are not going to stand up to Bernadette he decides to take her down and end her reign of terror and saving his family's reputation and just maybe getting a boyfriend.
