The Day Ollo Got Lost on Purpose: A Cozy Woodland Mouse Adventure Book About Exploring the Unknown

By Yolanda B Allen

The Day Ollo Gets Lost on Purpose is a cozy woodland picture book about curiosity, courage, and the magic of exploring the unknown.

Meet Ollo, who loves maps.

He's already mapped the berry bush, the mushroom steps, the stump where beetles argue about crumbs, and even the pebble that looks like a bun. But at the far edge of his map, past the last lantern and the first stone, there is a blank place.

With his map, his pencil, and a leaf-wrapped snack from Gran, Ollo sets off to find out what's beyond the path he knows... and for the first time, Ollo's map doesn't tell him where to go.

The Day Ollo Got Lost on Purpose is a warm, whimsical children's picture book about facing uncertainty, noticing small wonders, and discovering that sometimes blank spaces are meant to be explored.

Perfect for children who love:
- Cozy animal adventures
- Gentle stories about bravery and curiosity
- Woodland fantasy worlds
- Maps, nature, and tiny discoveries
- Comforting bedtime stories

The Day Ollo Got Lost on Purpose is a tender and magical story for young readers who are learning that courage doesn't always mean feeling ready. Sometimes it means taking one small step past the unknown.
