Your heart beats quickly as you step to the front of the class. You are 9 years old, in 3rd grade and unfortunately it is now your turn to spell a word out loud, in front of everyone. The word given by the teacher is "Thorough" and your breath stops for a moment. T-H-O-R-O-W. Before you are told by your teacher that you were incorrect, you are met with snickers and chuckles from your classmates. The children that comprise the majority of your social life now know that you are not as smart as them. What do you feel? Embarrassment? Awkwardness? Imagine for me now a very different scenario. You are standing alone on the Day of Judgment. To the front sits God, our Father. Behind you is every believer that you have ever known, or has known you. Everyone who has looked up to you, everyone from church, and family, who heard you profess great love for Jesus. Everyone is there, along with countless numbers of others. Instead of you proving your lack in spelling ability, every minute detail of your Christian life, good and bad alike, is being shown, to EVERYONE, and you are being called to account for it all.If you are like most believers today I am confident that you have not given this subject the time it deserves. In this book we will take a very sobering look at an extremely important, and even frightening event that is ahead for us all. In this short book I will reference some verses that you probably haven't given too much thought to. I might even show you a verse or two that you have never considered before. What I will do often is look at verses and teachings that we are all very familiar with. I will remind you of the important truths that are taught, and call you to bring your life in complete subjection to God in light of them. We will all stand before the God of All Creation and give an account for every tiny detail of our lives. I really think this should be in the forefront of our thoughts, not somewhere on the back burner. Please read these chapters and take the appropriate action.
