This is a follow on from 'Where's Molly?'- a tale of childhood, love and loss. Molly is found, by a long-lost brother, Billy, followed by the discovery of a family that she never knew existed. I too have continued my tale - from childhood to adult, not so much trials and tribulations, but a journey of self-discovery none the less. Part of this journey was to contact my uncle Billy, someone I had not seen or heard from since the age of 8. I have given him a voice to comment and expand on the life of my mother - the aforementioned Molly. The age gap between brother and sister allows for the inevitable discrepancies - mum left an account of her life in notebooks that fell apart in your hands - but they were like the findings of an archaeological dig, a treasure trove of stories. Billy and I have the 21st century at our disposal - emails and text messages...providing me with a smattering of his life, encompassing his 83 years; in the fullness of time, we will meet. But the pages of this book will contain my life thus far...and will continue to shed light on my upbringing...and quite possibly who I am...
