"The Day After" or " The Day After Gender Change" is a representation of how my life changed once I finally accepted that I was a woman trapped in a man's body and my decision to change my gender and to be a woman in every sense of the word.

The book explores society's attitudes toward those with gender identity issues and specifically with its response to those who take the huge step of physically changing their bodies to live their lives as they were meant to be. The book also explores the struggles, challenges, and emotional roller coaster that a person who undergoes a gender change experiences on an almost day-to-day basis.
