The Darkside

In a small forest town, down the side of the main highway, is a great shadow. It never sees the light of day and animals and people both avoid it; an urban legend of death. It is known by many names... but most call it the darkside. Within this shadow are forests, castles, towns, and remnants of war. The fairies won the last war but wait in patience for their chance at the fairies that destroyed their home long ago. Blake and Jacob are lightsiders. Father and son, but neither really understands the other, and that comes to a head when Jacob runs into the darkside in search of his late sister Janine. Both are separated and subsequently entangled in the political affairs and daily life of the darksiders. They must figure out how to end the war, and (much worse) talk to each other before it's too late to return home.
