The Dark Loving Tale is the story about a peculiar woman who really doesn't know what she wants in a husband. A good woman she is, but at times imprudent. Eden is her name. She first marries a man with a past she knew nothing about. Oliver Cain is a man to be reckoned with. He's very brutal and conniving.
Soon after marriage, Oliver Cain II is born and Eden's very delighted. Yet at some point, she realizes that marriage seems to be a mistake. Because of his violence, she was unsure about Oliver, but still wants to be with him. Eden cares for him dearly and falls in love with the shyster; then tragedy strikes.
But shortly thereafter, Eden meets a moral man -- Galacy. Over time, their love grows. They marry, and another a blessing occurs as Eden becomes pregnant and gives birth to Abel.
As Oliver and Abel grow into adulthood, they grow apart. Thus, the story begins...
