It is possible to pray, fast, praise or worship without His presence. To preach, teach or perform miracles without His anointing. To lead, guide, motivate without His direction. To serve God...without God. This is terrible "Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name have done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them. I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:22-23 It's a reality that few dare to face. We live in a generation where spiritual activity abounds, but where genuine dependence on the Holy Spirit is becoming rare. Churches are full, programs are organized, prayers, fasts, and hymns resound, but the question remains: Who is really in charge? God or devil? This book is not a critique. It's a scream.
