In this issue of the Review we introduce a new format and also go out on a limb to make the claim that here is the fiction that reviewers missed the boat on. Since Dalkey has the quixotic mission of keeping in print all the fiction it publishes, we want to give these books another chance, and we are staking our reputation on these selections being among the best fiction of the past thirty or so years.
