The acorn family story begins in Green Meadows Park under a mighty oak; where it is believed that James Oliver Curwood wrote some of his short stories.

A magic burst of thunder and lightning flashed through the bright sunlight, into the branches and down into the tree giving the acorn family "the gift of life."

The little acorns awoke to the soft splashes of rain and hearing the wonderful sound of music. They discovered a surprise sandbox of toys until they fall restfully asleep anxious for a new day.
