Eco-Logical Adventures For All Ages...

This is a great adventure book for kids that also captures the minds of adults! If you are looking for an Eco gift for the kids during the Holiday...this is a perfect match!

Even adults will love this...

Thank you, B. T. Hope. You have created a wonderful adventure even an adult can "check out" for a while and enjoy. I love the fact that it takes into consideration, not just a great story line, a magical setting and wonderful characters but, also provides fun, yet thoughtful perspective on our world and how precious it is to us all. It is very empowering. I hope more people write like this for all generations.

Terrific gift from grandparents

We have four grandchildren and this is the perfect kind of book to give them. We can read it together and/or use it as a springboard for discussions about environmental issues. It is fun and engaging as well as full of important information for their generation. I found it appropriate for the 6 year old but still interesting to the 6th grader. I'm recommending it to our friends as a holiday gift for their grandchildren.

Great adventure, with a great message to all ages!

This book is a must read for parents and children alike. In this day of age, with so much riding on the future health of our global environments, Nui's "Curse of the Bone Pirates" is exactly the message we need to foster and communicate to our children and communities. After all, the future of our world is riding on current and future generations understanding of how to conserve, and be good to themselves and the environment. I am a father, and my 5.5 year old loved this book as much as me. My boy truly relates to the fun and exciting characters, adventures and thoughtful eco-conscience content weaved throughout the book. He keeps asking me to read it to him, and I just bought a few more on HIS request; one for his kindergarten teacher to read in class, and a couple others to share with friends. Hat's off to the author and Nui as a whole for providing a wonderful, thoughtful edutainment vehicle with content ripe for today's kids and parents. Our family also enjoys the healthy and eco-friendly Nui beverage, and can't wait to see what's next from Nui!!

Helping special education students read

As a special education teacher, I struggle to find books that are on students' instructional level and they find interesting. Earlier this year I began reading Curse of the Bone Pirates with a student who is reading two, almost three years below his current grade level, and he loved this book! Curse of the Bone Pirates not only kept his interest but, the content opened conversation about the environment and how we can be more eco-friendly, science, geography and much more. He didn't even know he was learning while he was reading; he was just entertained! I look forward to reading this book with many other students in the future and have already shared it with the science teacher so she can add it to her curriculum. I highly recommend this book for all students, especially students with learning difficulties because, even though a student may not read on his/her grade level it doesn't mean his/her intellectual capacity is not at grade level.
