The curriculum and vocational training

The present investigation had as objective to determine the relation between the curriculum and the professional formation of the students of the specialty of Tourism and Hotel Management in the National University of Education "Enrique Guzm?n y Valle", La Cantuta. The investigation allowed us to know how is designed the curriculum that is worked with the students and how this was related to their professional formation, in this way it was possible to write some recommendations that started from the study of the problematic, the same ones that will serve so that the students develop adequate competences and improve their professional formation. For this reason it is important that the curricular design of studies is adequately elaborated and according to the skills and competencies that we want to develop in them, as well as it is also important that teachers are willing to improve, update and renew the curriculum constantly in coordination with the work team.
