The Cuddly Cactus

By Andy Spurgeon

In the heart of the hot desert lives a little cactus with a big heart. He doesn't want to hurt anyone with his prickly needles-he just wants a friend. But every bird, scorpion, and spider he meets runs away, leaving him sad and lonely. Just when he's about to give up, a porcupine appears and changes everything. Together, they discover that what's on the outside doesn't define who you are inside. A tender, uplifting tale about kindness, acceptance, and the courage to be yourself-perfect for children and the young at heart.
