Crusaders, special militarized missionaries, are traveling from world to world spreading the Word of God by force. As a member of said Order, Terra and his stranded team are left to discover the mysteries of the Isle of the Fallen, a haven for exiled Crusaders, while coming to terms with what the truth of the world really is. Due to his sworn loyalty to his brother, Christian, Terra is thrust into the world of the Crusaders obligated to enforce their laws whether he wishes to or not. On the final test for him to become a Crusader though, Terra's resolve for the righteous Creed of the Order and his loyalty to his brother are tested as he experiences the forbidden fruits of the Isle of the Fallen. Through these trials, he is haunted by memories of his past that illustrate how he got to the Order and why his loyalty with them wavers.
