Evergreen Rivers, a local tea-shop owner and Potens (A magic-born person), travels through the wilderness trying to escape a fate she doesn't deserve. She has been sentenced to trial since she was accused of murder, a murder she did not commit. With very little powers and barely any confidence, she cannot defend herself more than a mere human, but with no family left and nowhere to go, she has no choice but to venture off to start over. Her travels force her to encounter a powerful truth about her family which changes her course as she knows it. She must face the twisted King in order to help the new friends that she meets along the way. Without much power, she is forced to find the courage within to stand up for her friends and her future.
