The Cross and the Church

By: Lemessageofthecross

The Cross and the Church: Servants Formed, Gifts Given is a compelling call to rediscover the true foundation of ministry and the church. Far from being built on ambition, talent, or human effort, God raises His servants through the Cross-shaping lives in humility, surrender, and Spirit-led strength.

Drawing deeply from Scripture and the lives of biblical figures, this book reveals how God forms and gifts His people for His house:

Chosen, not volunteered-ministry begins with God's call, not human initiative.Shepherds, not managers-elders are called to care for souls with Christ's heart.Formed by Christ, not by schools-true preparation is forged in His presence.Intercession as labor-prayer is the unseen foundation of all spiritual authority.Built for maturity-the goal is a church stable, radiant, and ready for His appearing.

With a tone both tender and prophetic, the chapters guide readers into deeper dependence on the Spirit, stronger foundations of faith, and a vision of the church filled with His glory.

If you long for authentic ministry, a Spirit-filled church, and a life shaped by the Cross, this book will equip and inspire you to embrace God's gifts of grace for His house.
