Adrien Deskene is a sixth-grader. He would do anything in order to win the attention of his antagonistic classmate, and eternal crush, Irvy Delaware. When he learns that she has accidentally crashed her parents' car during their absence, and could be grounded 'forever' should they find out, he sees an opportunity to get in her good graces. Problem is, her parents will be back in a day. And it's going to cost one thousand dollars to fix the car. Can he find that much money in such a short time? Enrolling the help of his two best friends, the unreliable Jonathan Baxter and the reluctant Paul Lenore, Adrien is going to pull his craziest stunt yet to get the cash. However, Irvy and her girlfriends might be onto something even crazier...

Spoiler (sort of): if you were wondering what N.E.R.D.S stands for in the title, it is Nuts Engaging Regularly in Delinquency and Stuff. Though, unofficially, it really is Nuts Engaging Regularly in Dumb Sh!t.
