The Cradle in Which the Stars Rest

The Cradle Where the Stars Rest is a collection of poems that traverses the delicate boundaries of love and pain. Between sighs and silences, each verse is an attempt to fill the void left by absence, a silent struggle against the loneliness that insists on remaining. Sweet words, yet laden with sadness, that embrace the soul while simultaneously breaking it, evoking both the tenderness of memories and the harshness of what no longer exists.

This book is for those who carry in their chest the longing and pain of those who have gone, but also seek, in the spaces between the lines, a thread of strength to continue. An embrace for the heart that has been lost, and at the same time, a provocation for those who dare to confront their own feelings of mourning and hope.

"Never Shall You Lack for Flowers

Do you weep for petals falling in the Fall? My dear,
Did sadness grip you when they withered,
Did you frown when they dried,
And now they fall, and tears are shed.

Winter will come, then Spring anew,
And our flower will bloom again, fresh and true,
We'll nurture it, and you'll cherish,
Perhaps never the same, but you'll relish,
Until it feels routine.

Worry not, don't shed a tear,
Even if sweet are your tears,
The world should be like you, my love,
You're right here, but you'll grow,
And life will mature you like this flower's petals.

If all goes awry, there will come a day,
When only a thousands of flowers will make you smile,
Yet it will still feel small,
For knowing what will befall,
Your heart holds truth even if you resist,
Knowledge will make you lose interest,
And in this way of wrong,
Nothing else seems worth being told.

What will sadden you then,
Is not knowing what happened,
But that you will no longer weep for what befell.

I wish, my love,
That your heart always feels,
That your eyes always shed tears,
And so you'll also know,
That every Spring for you,
Shall be true."

"Facets

Living by appearance, what does it truly mean?
If your guise alters, how then will I know thee?
If for others you shift, what's left for yourself?
This beauty you conceal, I fear to lose, since first I beheld.

And if you vanish with your beauty, who would remain?
A shape that shifts with each, or molded by their gain.
No shadow of a doubt that you will change once more,
But change for yourself, or may never return as before."
