The Cracked Watch

By Christian Walsh

Ravi, a boy sent to live with his aunt and uncle by the sea, feels like an outsider until he discovers a strange ability to slip through time. His uncle warns him never to interfere, revealing that Ravi's father-also a Traveler-was lost for disobeying that rule.

But when Ravi witnesses moments of suffering in the past and despair in the future, he can't stay passive. Saving one child from a soldier's bullet unravels his world: friends vanish, buildings flicker, and reality fractures.

Haunted by whispers, confronted by a mysterious stranger, and torn between his uncle's stern warnings and his own conscience, Ravi faces the same impossible choice his father did. In the end, he leaps into the currents of time, knowing he may be lost-but hoping he might rewrite what was broken.
