The Cowardly Pirates

George and Maggie are scared of everything Their captain is at his wits end with them until they learn a Bible verse that says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Go on a journey with George and Maggie through dark treasure caves, terrible storms, and battling enemy pirates. In the end they discover what God says about fear and how they can overcome it. This is a 5-day VBS (Vacation Bible School) style children's program that can also be used as a children's play. This play was originally written for the Great Adventure Day Camp at Mystic Mountain Training Center in Cambridge Springs, PA, where I have been a volunteer since 2001.
