short and to the point which was what I really enjoyed the most.

Simple yet profound!

I highly recommend this book! If you think you know all there is to know about the covenant - then I dare you to read this book! I first read and studied this book on my own and later helped facilitated a Small Group bible study. One can only know "who they are in Christ Jesus" if they truly understand the covenant. I love the way James Garlow explains in layman terms the parallels of the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. It's simple yet profound!

I purchased a dvd/book combo called The Covenant by James L. Garlow. It really does show us how much God loves us even tho,we rebel and do things we know are not what we should be doing. It also shows that some parts of our lives are a reflection of covenants laid out in the Bible. I Had wondered about some things recorded in the Bible but never knew why God would ask man to such things. But this book really gave me answers to my questions plus so many more that I hadn't even thought of. It brought a better understand of the bible.

Great for sermon series or small group

I heard about Dr. Garlow's book and decided to buy it. I'm glad I did. I have found a great wealth of information useful for sermon preparation, devotional study, and biblical history. I'm planning on buying the DVD and showing it on Wed. nights for discipling. Great read, awesome information on details of the Old and New Covenant.
