Emmett and his family thought their search was over after they settled into Smith's Cove. Instead, they found more questions than answers as they began to unravel the true meaning of the earwigs, their extra passengers, and their foreign origins.

Now, facing everything from nosey neighbors with blow torches for weeds to beings beyond their reach, they have to come together to defeat the earwigs and the other passengers before their world ends up like many before it.
