A short tale written in sparse but very powerful language and Gonzo journalism inspired style.
The characters are incomplete yet complete signaling their sometimes broken existence like most of us being works in progress rushing towards no destination.
The protagonist, Bambi an afro-modernist relegates the present into history suggesting that his world has since escaped the death of his ego( Carl Jung's Ego Death ) through a Zen routine that needs little and demands frugality. A two-beat Robert M.Pirsig albeit with half the travel and little of the intellectual banter.
