The Quest for Freedom

The Quest for Freedom starts off Matthew Devitt's series, The Conquest Trilogy. It, also, the debut for this author. I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of the fantasy genre, but I am one of those readers who at times judge a book by its cover. When I saw this cover, I was intrigued and wanted to find out if it would be a book for me. I was far from being disappointed. It was great to get away from this chaotic world and visit a new one for awhile. I was quickly thrown into a magical place that was brought to life. I thought it was a wonderful story of hope, adventure, action, courage, determination, bravery, and even inspiring. I loved the characters, the setting, and the plot. I found the novel to be an overall fun and entertaining read. I loved every single page. I am going to give The Quest for Freedom a well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading epic fantasies. I would love to continue reading The Conquest Trilogy when the second installment releases in the future. I am curious to see where Matthew DeVitt's imagination will take his characters, readers, and fans to next. I received a paperback copy of Matthew DeVitt's The Quest for Freedom (The Conquest Trilogy #1) from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
