"My lovely wife, I knew you'd come here."

He paused with an unrecognizable gaze. He eyed me up and down. Jake curiously observed my torn-up clothes and the bare, blood-stained parts of my skin. I shivered with illness and terror.

"Look at you. Half-raped, half-naked, broken, bloody, and sick... damaged really. And now a killer like most of us here. Feeling a little under the weather, are we?"Jake's angry gaze penetrated what was left of every fiber of my being.
