This is a collection of 100 images taken in the Connemara region of Ireland. You will find unique landscapes, buildings, some people, animals, sculptures, and graffiti.

Connemara is one of the most attractive areas to visit in Ireland. In fact, it does not look like the rest of Ireland at all, it looks like another distant country, a country made of lakes, the sea and conical mountains. Landscapes are beautiful but life there was always tough and, in some respects, it continues to be so.

I was lucky to live in the area for five months and to be many times in the same places, waiting for the good light conditions, for it rains a lot in the area, almost every day and many times a day. However, sometimes, one can enjoy a week of dry and luminous weather.
