The connection between leadership and trust in teams

This paper summarizes the literature on trust research. It shows the effects that leadership behavior can have on individual and collective trust. Both indirect and direct effects of leadership on trust building are considered. As a result, a theoretical model is proposed that can serve as a basis for future research. The research question of this paper is: "What influence does leadership have on individual and collective trust in teams?"
