Knowledge is one of the attributes of Allah, the Creator of everything. Man has been endowed with knowledge from the beginning of creation. The development of knowledge and education is one of the greatest achievements of mankind in the last three centuries. However, the attendant evil inherent in the conception of knowledge cannot be overlooked by a society that values righteousness.
Presently, knowledge is conceived wrongly for evil ends, something a majority of mankind do not care about. Overdependence on the intellect to know everything about nature and creation has only led modern civilization to ideological chaos. It's this epistemic disaster this short treatise attempts to identify and provide a rudimentary basis for it's solution.
Nevertheless, the Concept of Uloomeeyyah will perhaps sound inimical to the sensitivities of a few conservative scholars out there, however I don't expect any scholar to blow a gasket because of this development. At any rate, this is an appeal to the understanding of every conscientious believer to consider the fundamental danger the secularization of knowledge poses to the authentic Creed of Islam as I introduce to you the rudimentary principles of the Concept of Uloomeeyyah.
