it grew on me

I have been an avid relient k fan for many years now and i jumped at the chance to be able to read a book by them. I was thoroughly disapointed upon reading the introduction because they said that the book was for girls, now since i spent money on the book, I decided I would still read it. Halfway through the book, i was still skeptical, but at the end of the vanilla pudding chapter, I liked the book. I found this book useful, both for girls, and guys. I would recommend it to anyone.

Straight out a great book to have!!!

This book is full of comedy, I laughed so hard from page to page. I actually got a lot of good tips out of it too though, I now know many secrets to a woman's mind that I did not know earlier. Still haven't got a date yet, probably my bad girl-getting skills that's all, the book had great tips though!!!

know what you want

hi guys! (or should i say girls?) this book in my opinion is a wonderful extension of relient k's work. yes, it's intensely goofy, and no, if you're looking for a manual on how to land a christian husband, this isn't your book. but if you want some funny advice on how to deal with guys, this is an excellent, faily short and hilarious read.

Incredibly Funny, True and not the least bit unchristian...

While the guys of Relient K are devoted Christians, all their songs have always been a little funny and off kilter. So is this, their writing debut. It is completely entertaining and their charm shines through in every word. The "types" of girls are stereotypical, but somehow creative and easy to identify with. There is quite a bit of indepth study involved on the part of the guys and they manage to give a view of how each girl interacts with her friends, herself and her church. Even the 2 guy types, as vague as they are to illustrate that guys are much less complex than girls are really funny. I wish I had a Mr. Wonderful :P While this book is not overtly Christian, this is a terribly excellent and funny book written by a really amazing and fun Christian band for any girl who can answer yes, yes and diet coke to the three questions on the back. :P I recommend it to everyone!! It's possibly my favorite book ever! lol

Guys know more than we give them credit for...

Okay, so if you have heard any of Relient K's songs, you should already know that they are a gifted bunch! But who would have know that in all of their twenty-something years they would have soaked up all this useful information about GIRLS, and themselves (BOYS)? They talk about several different TYPES of girls (and if you're anything like me, you'd probably say you could never fit into any one type...but they make it clear in the book that no one could ever fit perfectly into one type. The types range from Rock Chick to Vanilla Pudding (no, not the dessert)...You'll see what I mean when you read the book. On to the boys...They describe in detail two very different types of boys -- One is rude and quite obnoxious, while the other you'll probably want to bring home to Mom. They explain that there's a little of both in every guy. They dedicate a whole chapter to revealing the mystery of what guys are thinking and what their mannerisms mean. They don't hold back either, so don't think they're going to sugarcoat anything! The group gives great insight throughout the book about life, love, and a few things girls do (and wear) that annoys them. They're always funny! The book was a great read, a great first effort from the boys, and I definitely would recommend it to anyone who's down for a good laugh and to learn something about themselves or the opposite sex. The RK boys never disappoint! And as always M@ rox! relientk.com
