The Complete Single's Guide to Being a Dog Owner: Choose the Right Breed, Train Your New Pup, Balance Dating and Dog Duties, Find Doggie Daycare and Travel with Your Dog
Should I let my dog sleep in bed with me? Can my puppy share my dinner? How do I keep my dog happy while I'm away at work? As more and more singles share their homes with dogs (rather than mates),... This description may be from another edition of this product.
It's not easy being single and having kids -- 4 legged ones. Yet so many of us do. My personal observations are that single women tend to see dogs as kid replacements while single men tend to see them as buddy replacements. We need to see them as dogs. There's lots of practical stuff around dog/life balance. Traveling, pet sitters and daycare... you need to think about this stuff before you get a dog. Or perhaps change the habits you already have. This is a short, easy read that any single dog "mom" or dad "pal" will find useful.
