A gotta' have it for any girls...traveling with girls or guys!

Consider this your must have, gotta have it, perfect little resource book for any girl needing a get-away. Unlike other travel guides/books I've read to Maui or Kauai, this travel guide is an easy read. I didn't have to read cover to cover, searching for the information that suits my travel taste or addressing the things I like to include in my vacations. The way the author writes is topical, so you look for the specific TYPE of trip you're interested in, and then find out where you can experience it. For example, cowgirl adventures in the Southwest. (don't be afraid...there's a little girly relaxation in this one), boutique shopping in Scottsdale, AZ, Austin, TX, even Portland, OR (who knew?!) Beaches scream girlfriend get-away in my mind, so I loved the diving and snorkeling in the Florida Keys info. Even the out of the box trips sparked my curiosity, like the section on a volunteer vacation to an animal sanctuary in Utah. (I'm guessing it's reeeeally pretty.) Seriously, this book is so comprehensive in the ideas it suggests with trips like, museum vacations, ghost tour get-aways and even a chapter on a trip to go thrift shopping. I found this to have a fun writing style that made me smile and giggle at times and you MUST read the big fat chapter on spa vacations!! This is really a great gift for girlfriends, bachelorettes, birthday gals, even newlyweds. But, I think the title is deceiving because the information can be used to travel with girls or guys. I've never written a review before, but this one was worth taking the time to write.

Lots of GREAT information

I have been on several Girls' trips and thought I knew it all. Boy, was I wrong! This fun book has a lot of great tips on planning, packing and executing. There are a lot of "outside the box" suggestions that I would have never thought of but loved and found very helpful. Whether you go on an Annual Girls' Trip or are planning your first one, I would definitely suggest getting this "survival" guide before you take on the daunting task of planning. This will give you a lot of great suggestions and tips.

Girl Time is a Must!

My girls and I will have fun no matter where we land. The purpose of a girl's trip is to reconnect with one another, destress and laugh a lot! Lisa Kasanicky and her book gave me great insight into what other women do on their girl trips. I highlighted towns, spas and restaurants mentioned in this book and talked about them all to my friends! We've been to New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Vegas, Los Angeles and now Dallas. I loved reading of the places Lisa Kasanicky visited and researched while writing this great guidebook. Her quest to make girls bond while on the road comes across in her light-hearted writing style. As a girl who cherishes her girlfriends, this book motivated me to calling my girls and scheduling another trip this fall!

Makes your soul smile...

This book appeals to all those things that women think and feel in the midst of their hectic lives, but don't always verbalize. The author outlines fabulous vacation ideas for the shoppers to the adventurers among us and provides a nice neat planning path toward making it happen. It reminds us of why our friends are support we so desperately need in our lives and this reminder makes you just want to find your nearest friend and give her a hug.

A motivational gem of ideas for any woman who needs to de-stress with the girls
