Offshore Solutions

This book is a good intoroduction to the world of offshore banking and tax havens. However, it focuses on all of the reasons why you should use offshore tax havens and not enough on why you shouldn't. As an owner of a corporation operating out of Antilles, I know how the process works. First of all, it is very easy to find yourself in a legal bind with the IRS for attempting to hide income. Next, finding a trustworthy offshore banker to help you register is hard to do and can be risky since they operate under foreign jurisdiction. Lastly, the benefits of offshore tax havens is not that great due to the high costs associated with the process. The type of people that usually need offshore accounts are people that are either involved in a debacle that requires them to hide their assets or people who need to launder money. In other words, if you do choose to use offshore tax havens, make sure to do your homework and consult a licensed financial consultant.

This book seriously opened my eyes...Wide. The book is very well written and is done so in layman's terms. I found the information on invasion of privacy rivetting.

A real awakening to reality

I can not say enough about this book. As soon as my personal position warrants it I will calling Mr. Schneider to make an appointment. I found the book to be well written, informative and up to date. Everything you need to know about offshore is in this book. Mr. Schneider comes across as sincere, forthright, and honest with no BS. He offers an awaking to the realities of todays financial world. I have already written to some of the banks he recommends. Another point I feel is of the upmost importance is that he is accessable.

Sent a copy to my brother half way thru.

When I was half way through this book I sent a copy of it to my Brother. I felt the content was great and the anecdotes were helpful in providing me the benefit from the experiences of others...not to mention Mr. Schnieders expert opinions and advise. My level of comfort was enhanced by his recommendations that legal opinions be sought before establishing any structures offshore. I find many other "experts" neglect to advise this. I will be utilizing and implementing his thougths and ideas immediately
