Angora rabbit is one of the oldest domestic rabbit breed range originating in Angora (today that is referred to as Ankara), Turkey. The Angora is a variety, not a breed and became particularly bred for its lengthy and soft wool. Angora rabbit became very popular as pets with French royalty in the mid 18th century. And then spread to the other components of Europe by way of the end of the century. In the early twentieth century, the Angora rabbit first appeared inside the United States and the breed turned into bred largely for its long Angora wool. Its wool can be without difficulty eliminated through combing, plucking or shearing.
